Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 2 And_he/it_saw and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE a_well in_the_field and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE there three flocks_of sheep were_lying_down on/upon_it(f) if/because from the_well the_that people_watered the_flocks and_the_stone was_large over the_mouth_of the_well. (GEN 29:2)

OET-RV: 2 Close to his destination, he looked ahead, and wow, there was a well in the countryside, and what’s more, three flocks of sheep and goats were lying there near it, because the flocks were watered from that well but the stone over the mouth of the well was large and heavy. (GEN 29:2)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
