Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 18 And_it_was the_one_who_flees from_the_sound_of the_dread he_will_fall into the_pit and_the_one_who_goes_up from_the_midst_of the_pit he_will_be_caught in_snare if/because windows from_a_high_place they_have_been_opened and_ the_foundations_of the_earth _they_have_shaken. (ISA 24:18)

OET-RV: 18 The one who runs away from the sound of terror, will fall into the pit,
⇔ and those who get up out of the pits, will be caught in the snare,
⇔ because the windows in the high place have been opened,
⇔ and the earth’s foundations have been shaken. (ISA 24:18)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
