Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 47 And_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in_the_days_of Zərubāⱱel and_in_the_days_of Nəḩemyāh were_giving the_portions_of the_singers and_the_gatekeepers the_matter_of a_day in_its_day and_they_were_setting_apart for_Lēviyyiy and_the_Lēviyyiy were_setting_apart for_the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron. OET-RV: 47 In Zerubavel and Nehemyah’s times, all Yisrael contributed the daily food allowance for the singers and gatekeepers. They also gave a percentage to the Levites who then gave a percentage of that to the priests (Aharon’s descendants). (NEH 12:47)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
