Thisis the regulation of childbearing[fn] for the male[fn] or for the female.[fn] 8And if she cannot afford[fn] a sheep,[fn] then[fn] she shall take two turtledoves or twoyoung doves[fn]—one as a burnt offering and one as a sin offering—and the priest shall make atonement for her, so that[fn] she shall be clean.’ ”
