The lost coin that was found

This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Readers’ Version

Literal Version

15:8 The lost coin that was found

8Or what woman who had ten silver coins and lost one, wouldn’t light a lamp and sweep the house and search thoroughly until she found it? 9Then she’d invite her friends and neighbours saying, ‘Come and celebrate with me because I found the money that I’d lost.’ 10I’m telling you all that there’s similar celebration by God’s messengers in heaven over one person who turns from their disobedience and obeys God.

8Or what woman having ten drachmas, if she_may_lose one drachma, is_ not _lighting a_lamp, and is_sweeping the house, and is_seeking carefully, until of_which she_may_find it?
9And having_found it, is_calling_together her friends and neighbors saying:
Be_rejoicing_with with_me, because I_found the drachma that I_lost.
10Thus I_am_saying to_you_all, there_is_becoming joy before the messengers of_ the _god over one sinner repenting.
