Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #362553

← מֵעַתָּה ⌂ → Dan 10 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 17 And_how the_servant_of my_master this is_he_able to_speak with my_master this and_I from_now not it_remains in_me strength and_breath not it_is_left in_me. (DAN 10:17)

OET-RV: 17 How can a servant of my master like me be able to talk to someone like you, my master? As for me, I’ve got no energy left, and I can barely breathe.” (DAN 10:17)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘מֵעַתָּה’ (Morphology=R PoS=preposition
 Morphology=D PoS=adverb)
is always and only glossed as ‘from, now’.

The various word forms of the root word (lemma) ‘Lemmas=‘מִן’, ‘עַתָּה’’ have only one gloss: ‘from,now’.
