Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #87406

← הַיּוֹם ⌂ → Deu 11 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 8 And_you(pl)_will_keep DOM all_of the_command which I am_commanding_of_you the_day so_that you(pl)_may_be_strong and_you(pl)_will_go and_you(pl)_will_take_possession_of DOM the_earth/land where you(pl) are_about_to_pass_over to_(to) to_take_possession_of_it. (DEU 11:8)

OET-RV: 8 So then, follow all the instructions that I’m giving you all today so that you’ll all be strong to enter and take possession of the land once you cross the river (DEU 11:8)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
