Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 21 See YHWH god_of_your he_has_set to_your_face DOM the_earth/land go_up take_possession_of_it just_as YHWH the_god_of your(pl)_ancestors_of_your he_spoke to/for_you(fs) do_not be_afraid and_do_not be_dismayed. (DEU 1:21)

OET-RV: 21 Look, your god Yahweh has given you the land that’s in front of you, so go ahead and take possession of it as Yahweh, your ancestors’ god has told you. Don’t be afraid and don’t be discouraged.’ (DEU 1:21)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘לָךְ’ (Morphology=R PoS=preposition
 Morphology=Sp2fs PoS=pronominal_suffix Person=second Gender=feminine Number=singular)
is always and only glossed as ‘to / for_you(fs)’.

The various word forms of the root word (lemma) ‘Lemmas=‘לְ’, ‘הוּא’’ have only one gloss: ‘to/for=you(fs)’.
