Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 9 And_let_them_put the_clothing and_the_horse on the_hand_of a_man one_of_the_officials_of the_king the_nobles and_they_will_clothe DOM the_man whom the_king he_delights in_honour_of_his and_they_will_make_him_ride on the_horse in_the_open_place_of the_city and_they_will_proclaim before_him thus it_will_be_done for_man whom the_king he_delights in_honour_of_his. OET-RV: 9 Then have one of your most noble officials present the man with the robe and the horse. Have your servants put the robe on the man whom you really want to honour and have them seat that man on the horse and then lead the horse through the public square of the city while they shout out to everyone in front of them, ‘The king is doing this because he really wants to honour this man!’ ” (EST 6:9)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
