AICNT REV Chapter 10

REV 10 ©

10And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, and a rainbow was over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire, 2And holding in his hand a {little book}[fn] [which was opened].[fn] And he placed his [right][fn] foot upon the sea, and the left upon the land, 3and he cried out with a loud voice, as a lion roars. And when it cried out, the [seven][fn] thunders spoke their voices. 4And when the [seven][fn] thunders spoke, {I was}[fn] about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying [[to me]],[fn] “Seal up what the [seven][fn] thunders have said, and do not write it down.”

5And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth, raised his [right][fn] hand to heaven 6and swore {to}[fn] the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, [and the earth and what is in it,][fn] [and the sea and what is in it,][fn] that there would be no more delay, 7but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God will be completed, just as he proclaimed to his servants the prophets.

8And the voice which I heard from heaven, speaking again with me and saying, “Go, take the {book}[fn] that is opened [in the hand][fn] of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the earth.” 9And {I went}[fn] to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, “Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”

10And I took the {little book}[fn] from the hand of the angel and ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey, and when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter. 11And {they say}[fn] to me, “You must prophesy again about peoples and [[about]][fn] nations and languages and many kings.”
