ULT REV Chapter 10

REV 10 ©

10And I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven clothed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head and his face like the sun and his feet like pillars of fire 2and having in his hand an opened little scroll. And he put his right foot on the sea and his left on the land, 3and he shouted in a loud voice, as a lion roars, and when he shouted, the seven thunders spoke their own voices. 4And when the seven thunders spoke, I was going to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal what the seven thunders said and do not write it.” 5And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven 6and swore by the one living to the ages of the ages, who created heaven and the things in it and the earth and the things in it and the sea and the things in it, “There will be no more time, 7but in the days of the sound of the seventh angel, when he is going to trumpet, then the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he proclaimed to his own servants the prophets.” 8And the voice that I heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying: “Go, take the opened scroll in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land.” 9And I went to the angel, telling him to give the little scroll to me. And he says to me, “Take and eat it, and it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet like honey.” 10And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it, and it was sweet like honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. 11And they said to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy again about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”
