13 in_year twenty and_three year of_Yōʼāsh the _son of _ʼĀḩāzziah the _king of _Yəhūdāh he _became _king Jehoahaz the _son of _Jehu over Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_Shomərōn seven- teen year[s].
2 And_he/it _made the_evil in/on_both _eyes _of of _Yahweh and_he/it _went after the _sins of _Yārāⱱəˊām the _son of _Nebat which he _caused _to _sin DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) not he _turned _aside from_them.
3 And_it _glowed/burned the _anger of _Yahweh in/on/at/with_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_gave_them in/on/at/with_hand of _Hazael the _king of _Rām and_in/on/at/with_hand son _of wwww the _son of _Hazael all the_days.
4 And_entreated Jehoahaz DOM the _face of _Yahweh and_he/it _listened to_him/it Yahweh DOM he _saw DOM the _oppression of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM_that he _oppressed DOM_them the _king of _Rām.
5 And_he/it _gave Yahweh for_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) a _deliverer and_they _went _out from_under the _hand of _Rām and_they _lived the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_homes_their as_yesterday three _days _ago.
6 Nevertheless not they _turned _aside from_sins of _the _house of _Yārāⱱəˊām which he _caused _to _sin[fn] DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_them it _walked and_also the_asherah it _remained in/on/at/with_Shomərōn.
7 DOM not he _left to_Jehoahaz a _people DOM (if) fifty horsemen and_ten chariot[s] and_ten thousand(s) foot _soldier[s] DOM destroyed_them the _king of _Rām and_made_them like _the_dust at_threshing.
8 And_rest of _the _matters of _Jehoahaz and_all that he _did and_might_his am_not [are]_they written on the _scroll of _the _matters the_days of_kings of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
9 And_slept Jehoahaz with fathers_his and_buried_him in/on/at/with_Shomərōn and_became _king Yōʼāsh his/its_son in _place_his.
