They were ones who were able to work at the Sacred Tent and who carried the tent and everything that was connected with it. 48 The total was 8,580 men. 49 They/We completed the counting of all the descendants of Levi, as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me. And they/we told each man what work he was to do and what things he must carry when they moved to a new location.
