1. Canaanite whose daughter Judah married. She bore Judah three sons: Er, Onan, and Shelah (Gn 38:2-5, 12 OET GEN 38:2–5 · OET GEN 38:12). See Bathshua #1.

2 There Yehudah saw the daughter of a Kena’ani (Canaanite) man named Shua, and he took her as a wife. He slept with her

3 and she got pregnant and in due course, gave birth to a son who Yehudah named Er.
