Hebrew wordlink #92658

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 21 And_they_will_bring_out DOM the to the_entrance_of the_house_of her_father_of_her and_they_will_stone_her the_men_of her_city_of_her with_stones and_she_will_die if/because she_has_done a_disgraceful_folly in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) by_acting_as_a_prostitute the_house_of her_father_of_her and_you_will_remove the_evil from_midst_of_your. (DEU 22:21)

OET-RV: 21 then they must take her to the doorway of her father’s house. Then the men from that city must execute her by throwing rocks at her, because she’s done a disgraceful thing in Yisrael—committing fornication while she still lived in her father’s house. That’s how you’ll remove evil from your country. (DEU 22:21)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
