Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 22 Like_days when they_had_rest in/among_them the_Yəhūdī from_enemies_of_their and_the_month when it_was_changed to/for_them from_sorrow into_joy and_from_mourning into_a_day good for_doing them days_of feast and_joy and_the_sending_of portions each to_neighbour_of_his and_gifts to_people. (EST 9:22)

OET-RV: 22 because those were the days when the Jews no longer had to oppose their enemies and that was the month when their sorrow and mourning had changed into a good day. Now they were instructed to make them days of feasting and happiness, and sending of gifts—to each other but also to the needy. (EST 9:22)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘בָהֶם’ (Morphology=R PoS=preposition
