Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #41989

← וְעַמְּךָ ⌂ → Exo 33 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 16 And_how will_it_be_known then if/because_that I_have_found favour in_eyes_of_your I and_people_of_your am_not by_going_your with_us and_we_will_be_distinguished I and_people_of_your from_all (the)_people which is_on the_surface_of the_soil. (EXO 33:16)

OET-RV: 16 How would anyone know that I’ve found favour in your sight—me and your people that is—if you didn’t come with us? How could I and your people be distinguished from all the other people groups in the world?” (EXO 33:16)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
