Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #291089

← נְבֵלָתִי ⌂ → Isa 26 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 19 Your(pl)_dead_of_ones they_will_live corpse_of_my they_will_rise awake and_shout_for_joy Oh_you(pl)_who_dwell_of dust if/because will_be_the_dew_of lights dew_of_your and_the_earth the_shades it_will_make_fall. (ISA 26:19)

OET-RV:  ⇔  19 Your dead will live—their corpses will rise.
⇔ Wake up and sing happily, you all who’ve lived in the dust,
⇔ because your dew is the dew that gives light
⇔ and the earth will release her dead. (ISA 26:19)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘נְבֵלָתִי’ (Morphology=Ncfsc PoS=common_noun Gender=feminine Number=singular State=construct
