Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 21 And_I this covenant_of_is_my with_them YHWH he_says my_breath/wind/spirit which is_on_you and_words/messages_of_my which I_have_put in_mouth_of_your not they_will_depart from_mouth_of_your and_from_the_mouth_of your(ms)_seed/fruit and_from_the_mouth_of the_offspring_of your(ms)_seed/fruit YHWH he_says from_now and_unto perpetuity. (ISA 59:21)

OET-RV: 21 Then Yahweh says:
 ⇔ This is my agreement with them.
 ⇔ My spirit which is on you and my messages that I’ve put in your mouth,
 ⇔ they won’t leave your mouth or the mouths of your descendants,
 ⇔ even the distant generations from now and forever onwards.
 § That is Yahweh’s declaration. (ISA 59:21)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘רוּחִי’ (Morphology=Ncbsc PoS=common_noun Gender=both Number=singular State=construct
 Morphology=Sp1cs PoS=pronominal_suffix Person=first Gender=common Number=singular)
is always and only glossed as ‘my_breath / wind / spirit’.

The various word forms of the root word (lemma) ‘Lemmas=‘רוּחַ’, ‘הוּא’’ have only one gloss: ‘my=breath/wind/spirit’.
