This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.
130:0 Yahweh can redeem us
130 A song for walking uphill to Yerushalem.
130 I call out to you, Yahweh—
out from the depths.
2 My master, listen to what I’m saying.
Pay attention to my pleas for mercy.
3 Yahweh if you kept a record of our disobedience,
master, who could stand before you?
4 But you do have a willingness to forgive
so that you might be respected.
5 I wait for Yahweh to rescue me—
I put my trust in what he’s said.
6 I wait for my master to help me—
more eagerly than the night guard looks forward to the morning.
7 Yisra’el, put your hope in Yahweh.
Yahweh is merciful and very willing to get us out of our situation.
8 He’s the one who’ll pay the price for all Yisrael’s sins
so we can be free.[ref]
Mat 1:21:
21 [ref]In due course she will have a son and you’ll name him Yeshua, because he will save his people from their sins.”
Tit 2:14:
14 [ref]who gave himself for us in order to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify us into his chosen people, eager to do good things.
