Song 130/Yahweh can redeem us

Psa 130:1–8

130 A song for walking uphill to Yerushalem.

130I call out to you, Yahweh

out from the depths.

2My master, listen to what I’m saying.

Pay attention to my pleas for mercy.

3Yahweh if you kept a record of our disobedience,

master, who could stand before you?

4But you do have a willingness to forgive

so that you might be respected.

5I wait for Yahweh to rescue me

I put my trust in what he’s said.

6I wait for my master to help me

more eagerly than the night guard looks forward to the morning.

7Yisra’el, put your hope in Yahweh.

Yahweh is merciful and very willing to get us out of our situation.

8He’s the one who’ll pay the price for all Yisrael’s sins

so we can be free.[ref]
