Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #348992

← וְיָדְעוּ ⌂ → Eze 34 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 27 And_ the_tree[s]_of the_field _he/it_gave DOM fruit_of_its and_the_earth it_will_give produce_of_its and_they_will_be on land_of_their_own to_security and_they_will_know if/because_that I am_YHWH when_break_I DOM the_bars_of their_yoke_of_their and_I_will_deliver_them from_the_hand_of those_who_laboured by_them. (EZE 34:27)

OET-RV: 27 Then the trees in the countryside will produce their fruit, the soil will yield its produce, and my sheep will be secure in their land. When I break off the ties holding the yoke onto their necks, and when I rescue them from the control of those who enslaved them, then they’ll know that I am Yahweh. (EZE 34:27)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
