2 Oh _son _of humankind prophesy on the _shepherds _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) prophesy and_you _will _say to_them to_shepherds thus[fn] he _says my_master YHWH woe _to the _shepherds _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) who they _have _been shepherding themselves am_not the_flock will _they _shepherd the_shepherds.

3 DOM the_fat you(pl)_eat and_DOM the_wool you _clothe _yourselves the _fat_sheep you(pl)_slaughter the_flock not you(pl)_shepherd.

4 DOM the _weak_sheep not you(pl)_have _strengthened and_DOM the _sick_sheep not you(pl)_have _healed and _(to)_the_sheep not you(pl)_have _bound _up and_DOM the _strayed_sheep not you(pl)_have _brought _back and_DOM the _lost_sheep not you(pl)_have _sought and_by_force you(pl)_have _ruled DOM_them and_with_harshness.

5 And_they _have _been _scattered from_not _of a _shepherd and_they _have _become for_food to/from_all/each/any/every (the)_animal _of the_field and_they _have _been _scattered.

6 flock _of_my They _wander in_all the_mountains and_on every _of hill high and_over all _of the _surface _of the_earth/land flock _of_my they _have _been _scattered and_there_is_not one _who_searches and_there_is_not one _who_seeks.

7 For_so/thus/hence Oh _shepherds hear DOM the _message _of YHWH.

8 by_the _life of _me the _utterance _of my_master YHWH if not because has _become flock _of_my (into)_prey and_they _have _become flock _of_my for_food to/from_all/each/any/every (the)_animal _of the_field because_there_is_not a _shepherd and_not they _have _searched _for shepherds _of_my DOM flock _of_my and_they _have _shepherded the_shepherds themselves and_DOM flock _of_my not they _have _shepherded.

9 for_so/thus/hence Oh_shepherds hear the _message _of YHWH.

10 Thus my_master he _says YHWH here_I am_against the_shepherds and_I _will _seek DOM flock _of_my from_hand _of_their and_I_will _cause _them _to _cease from_shepherding a _flock and_not they _will _shepherd again the_shepherds themselves and_I _will _deliver flock _of_my from_mouth _of_their and_not they _will _become to/for_them for_food.

11 if/because thus my_master he _says YHWH HERE_I_am I and_I _will _search _for DOM flock _of_my and_I_will _seek _them.

12 Like_the_seeking _of a _shepherd flock _of_his in/on_day is_he among_midst _of his/its_flock _of _sheep/goats separated so I _will _seek DOM flock _of_my and_I _will _deliver them from_all the_places where they _were _scattered there in/on_day cloud and_thick _darkness.

13 And_I_will _bring _them _out from the_peoples and_I_will _gather _them from the_lands and_I_will _bring _them to land _of_their _own and_I_will _shepherd _them to the _mountains _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) in_ravines and_in_all _of the _habitable _places _of the_earth/land.

14 In_pasture good I _will _shepherd DOM_them and_on_the _mountains _of the _height _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) it _will _be pastureland _of_their there they _will _lie _down in_pastureland good and_pasture fertile they _will _graze to the _mountains _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

15 I I _will _shepherd flock _of_my and_I I_will _make _them _lie _down the _utterance _of my_master YHWH.

16 DOM the _lost_sheep I _will _seek and_DOM the _strayed_sheep I _will _bring _back and _(to)_the_sheep I _will _bind _up and_DOM the _sick_sheep I _will _make _strong and_DOM the _fat_sheep and_DOM the _strong_sheep I _will _destroy I_will _shepherd _it with_justice.

17 And_you(pl) my _flock _of_my thus my_master he _says YHWH here_I am_about _to _judge between a _sheep and_a _sheep and_rams and_(the)_goats.

18 too_little for_you(pl) is_the_pasture (the)_good which_you(pl)_are _grazing and_the _rest _of your(pl)_pasture _of_your(pl) you(pl)_are _trampling with_feet _of_your(pl) and_clearness _of waters which_you(pl)_are _drinking and_DOM those_which _are_left with_feet _of_your(pl) you(pl)_are _fouling.

19 And_flock _of_my the _trampling _place _of your _two’s _feet _of_your(pl) they _will _graze and_the _befouled _thing _of your _two’s _feet _of_your(pl) they _will _drink.

20 for_so/thus/hence thus my_master he _says YHWH to_them HERE_I_am I and_I _will _judge between a _sheep fat and_between a _sheep lean.

21 Because with_side and_with_shoulder you(pl)_push and_with_horns _of_your(pl) you(pl)_gore all _of the _weak_sheep until that you(pl)_have _scattered them to (to)_the_outside.

22 And_I _will _save (to)_flock _of_my and_not they _will _become again (into)_prey and_I _will _judge between a _sheep and_a _sheep.

23 And_I _will _raise _up over_them a _shepherd one and_he _will _shepherd them DOM servant _of_my Dāvid he he _will _shepherd DOM_them and_he he _will _become for_them (into)_a_shepherd.

24 And_I YHWH I _will _become to/for_them (into)_god and_servant _of_my Dāvid will _be_prince among_them I YHWH I _have _spoken.

25 And_I _will _make to/for_them a _covenant _of peace and_I _will _cause _to _cease animal[s] wild from the_earth/land and_they _will _dwell in_wilderness to_security and_they _will _sleep in_forests.

26 And_I _will _make them and_around _of hill _of_my a _blessing and_I _will _bring _down the_rain at_its _appropriate _of_time rains _of blessing they _will _be.

27 And_ the _tree[s]_of _he/it _gave the_field DOM fruit _of_its and_the_earth it _will _give produce _of_its and_they _will _be on land _of_their _own to_security and_they _will _know if/because _that I am_YHWH when_break_I DOM the _bars _of their _yoke _of_their and_I_will _deliver _them from_the _hand _of those _who_laboured by_them.

28 And_not they _will _be again spoil for_nations and_the _animal[s]_of the_earth/land not it_will _devour _them and_they _will _dwell to_security and_there_will_not_be one _who_terrifies.

29 And_I _will _establish to/for_them a _planting _place for_name and_not they _will _be again famine those _who _are_gathered _of on _the_earth and_not they _will _bear again the _insult _of the_nations.

30 And_they _will _know if/because _that I YHWH god _of_their with_them and_they people _of_are_my the _house _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) the _utterance _of my_master YHWH.

31 And_you(pl) flock _of_are_my the _flock _of my _pasture _of_my human[s] you(pl) I god _of_am_your(pl) the _utterance _of my_master YHWH.
