Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 18 And_he/it_went in_wilderness and_it_went_around DOM the_land_of ʼEdōm and_DOM the_land_of Mōʼāⱱ and_it_came from_the_rising_of the_sun of_the_land_of of_Mōʼāⱱ and_they_encamped on_the_other_side_of the_ʼArnōn and_not they_went in_the_territory_of Mōʼāⱱ if/because the_ʼArnōn was_the_border_of Mōʼāⱱ. OET-RV: 18 Then we went through the wilderness and turned away from the land of Edom and the land of Moab, then went the long way around the eastern border of Moab. They camped on the other side of the Arnon river, but they didn’t go within Moab’s borders, because the Arnon was the border of Moab. (JDG 11:18)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
