2 And _ the _ wife_ of_ she/it _ gave_ birthof _ Gilˊādto _ him/it sons and _ the _ sons_ of_ grew _ upthe _ woman and _ drove _ awayDOM Yiftāḩ and _ they _ saidto _ him/it not you _ will_ have_ an_ inheritancein _ house _ offather’s _ of_ our if/because [are] _ the_ son_ ofa _ womananother you .

5 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as they _ foughtthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn with Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ went the _ elders_ ofGilˊād to _ take/accept/receive DOM Yiftāḩ from _ land _ ofōⱱ .
6 And _ they _ saidto _ Yiftāḩ come and _ be to/for _ ourselves as _ commander and _ fight in/on/at/with _ sons _ ofˊAmmōn .
7 And _ Yiftāḩ _ he/it _ saidto _ elders _ ofGilˊād not you _ alldid _ you_ all_ hateDOM _ me and _ drive _ me from _ house _ offather’s _ of_ my and _ why have _ you_ all_ cometo _ me now just _ as it _ is_ distressto _ you _ all8 And _ they _ saidthe _ elders_ ofGilˊād to Yiftāḩ/(Jephthah) for _ so/thus/hence now we _ have_ returnedto _ you and _ go with _ us and _ fight in/on/at/with _ sons _ ofˊAmmōn and _ become to/for _ ourselves as _ head to _ all/each/any/every the _ inhabitants_ ofGilˊād .
9 And _ Yiftāḩ _ he/it _ saidto the _ elders_ ofGilˊād if [are] _ bringing_ backyou _ allDOM _ me to _ fight in/on/at/with _ sons _ ofˊAmmōn and _ he/it _ gaveYHWH DOM _ them to _ face/front _ me I I _ will_ becometo/for _ you _ allas _ head .
10 And _ they _ saidthe _ elders_ ofGilˊād to Yiftāḩ YHWH he _ will_ behearing between _ us if not as _ say _ of_ you so we _ will_ do11 And _ Yiftāḩ _ he/it _ wentwith the _ elders_ ofGilˊād and _ made the _ people DOM _ him over _ them as _ head and _ as _ commander and _ Yiftāḩ _ he/it _ spokeDOM all _ ofwords _ of_ his to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH in/on/at/with _ Miʦpāh .
12 and _ Yiftāḩ _ sent messengers to the _ king_ ofthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn to _ say what to/for _ me and _ have _ you (cmp) you _ have_ cometo _ me to _ fight in/on/at/with _ land _ of_ my .
13 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ the_ people_ ofof _ ˊAmmōnto the _ messengers_ ofYiftāḩ if/because Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) it _ tookDOM land _ of_ my in/on/at/with _ came _ up_ they from _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt) from _ ʼArnōn and _ unto the _ Yaboq/(Jabbok) and _ unto the _ Yardēn/(Jordan) and _ now restore DOM _ it in/on/at/with _ peace .

15 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it thus Yiftāḩ he _ saysnot Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) it _ has_ takenDOM the _ land_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ DOM the _ land_ ofthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn .
16 If/because in/on/at/with _ came _ up_ they from _ Miʦrayim and _ he/it _ wentYisrāʼēl /(Israel) in/on/at/with _ wilderness to [the] _ sea_ ofreed[s] and _ came Qādēsh _ to .
17 And _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ sent messengers to the _ king_ ofʼEdōm to _ say let _ me_ passplease in/on/at/with _ land _ of_ your and _ not the _ king_ ofhe _ listenedof _ ʼEdōmand _ also to the _ king_ ofMōʼāⱱ it _ sentand _ not he _ was_ willingand _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ he/it _ sat_ down//remained//livedin/on/at/with _ Qādēsh .

19 And _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ sent messengers to Şīḩōn the _ king_ ofthe _ ʼAmorī the _ king_ ofḨeshbōn and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) let _ us_ passplease in/on/at/with _ land _ of_ your to country _ of_ our .
20 And _ not Şīḩōn he _ trustedDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ passin/on/at/with _ territory _ of_ his and _ Şīḩōn _ gathered DOM all _ ofpeople _ of_ his and _ encamped in/on/at/with _ Yahaʦ/(Jahaz) and _ fought with Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .

29 and _ it _ becameon Yiftāḩ the _ spirit_ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ passed_ throughDOM the _ Gilˊād and _ DOM Mə nashsheh and _ passed _ throughDOM Miʦpāh of _ Gilˊādand _ from _ Miʦpāh of _ Gilˊādhe _ passed_ onthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn .
30 And _ Yiftāḩ _ made a _ vowto/for _ YHWH and _ said if really _ (give)you _ will_ giveDOM the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn in/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ my .
31 And _ it _ wasthe _ one _ coming_ outwhich it _ will_ come_ outof _ doors _ ofhouse _ of_ my to _ meet _ me in/on/at/with _ return _ I in/on/at/with _ peace from _ (the) _ sonsof _ ˊAmmōnand _ it _ wasto/for _ YHWH and _ offer _ it a _ burnt_ offering32 and _ Yiftāḩ _ he/it _ passed_ throughto the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn to _ fight in/on/at/with _ them and _ gave _ them [fn ] [fn ] [fn ] YHWH in _ his/its _ hand .
33 And _ defeated _ them from _ ˊArōˊēr and _ unto entrance _ you [fn ] [fn ] Minnit twenty citi[es] and _ unto Abel Keramim a _ defeatgreat very and _ the _ people_ of_ subdued of _ ˊAmmōnfrom _ face/in _ front_ ofthe _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
