Hebrew wordlink #119354

← הֶרְאָנוּ ⌂ → Jdg 13 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 23 And_she/it_said to_him/it his/its_wife/woman if YHWH he_had_desired to_kill_us not he_accepted from_hand_of_our a_burnt_offering and_a_grain_offering and_not he DOM all_of these_things and_about_time not he like_this. (JDG 13:23)

OET-RV: 23 But his wife replied to him, “If Yahweh had wanted to kill us, he wouldn’t have accepted the entire burnt offering and the grain offering. He wouldn’t have shown us all those things, and he wouldn’t have given us those instructions.” (JDG 13:23)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
