Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 12 And_now give to/for_me DOM the_hill_country the_this which YHWH he_spoke in_the_day (the)_that if/because you you_heard on_day (the)_that if/because_that ˊAnāqī were_there and_cities large fortified perhaps YHWH will_be_with_me and_I_will_dispossess_them just_as YHWH he_spoke. (JOS 14:12)

OET-RV: 12 So now, please give me that hill country that Yahweh promised that day, because you yourself heard me say that the Anakim lived there in fortified cities. So now, perhaps Yahweh will help me to take them over just as he said.” (JOS 14:12)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘הַהוּא’ (Morphology=Td PoS=definite_article
