Hebrew wordlink #175005

← וְיִרְאֶה ⌂ → 2 Ki 6 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 17 And_ ʼElīshāˊ _he_prayed and_he_said Oh_YHWH open please DOM eyes_of_his so_that_he_may_see and_ YHWH _he_opened DOM the_eyes_of the_servant and_he/it_saw and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE the_hill it_was_full horses and_chariotry_of fire around_of ʼElīshāˊ. (KI2 6:17)

OET-RV: 17 Then Elisha prayed, “Yahweh, please enable his sight so he can see.” Then Yahweh enabled the eyes of the young man, and he was stunned to see that the hill was covered with chariots of fire and horses all around Elisha. (KI2 6:17)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
