Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #59691

← הִמָּכְרוֹ ⌂ → Lev 25 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 50 And_he_will_calculate with the_one_of_who_bought_him from_the_year_of he_sold_himself to_him/it until the_year_of the_jubilee and_it_was the_silver_of his_sale_of_his by_the_number_of years according_to_the_days_of a_hired_labourer he_will_be with_him/it. (LEV 25:50)

OET-RV: 50 He must work out with his master how many years from when he sold himself, until the restoration celebration year, and figure out the price according to the wages of a hired worker for that many years. (LEV 25:50)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
