Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #127831

← וְשִׁלַּחְתֶּם ⌂ → 1 Sam 6 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 8 And_you(pl)_will_take DOM the_box_of YHWH and_you(pl)_will_put DOM_him/it into the_cart and_DOM the_articles_of the_gold which you(pl)_have_sent_back to_him/it a_guilt_offering you(pl)_will_put in_box from_side_of_its and_you(pl)_will_send_away DOM_him/it and_it_will_go. (SA1 6:8)

OET-RV: 8 Then pick up Yahweh’s box and put it into the cart along with the gold objects that you are sending with it as a guilt offering put in another container beside the box. Finally, send the cart away and off it will go. (SA1 6:8)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
