BEEROTH BENE-JAAKAN*

Site where the Israelites camped during their wilderness journey from Egypt, near Moserah or Moseroth (Dt 10:6; see NLT mg); also called Bene-jaakan in Numbers 33:31-32. Beeroth Bene-jaakan means “well of Jaakan’s sons.” See Wilderness Wanderings.
