Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #362593

← חִזַּקְתָּנִי ⌂ → Dan 10 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 19 And_he/it_said do_not fear Oh_man_of preciousness(es) peace to/for_you(fs) be_strong and_be_strong and_when_spoke_he with_me I_strengthened_myself and_I_said my_master let_him_speak if/because you_have_strengthened_me. (DAN 10:19)

OET-RV: 19 then he said, “Don’t be afraid, you human who’s greatly valued. May peace be to you! Be strong and be strong!”
¶ While he was speaking to me, I felt stronger and said, “Go ahead and speak, my master, because you’ve given me some energy again.” (DAN 10:19)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
