Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #14097

← לְפָנַי ⌂ → Gen 30 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 30 If/because a_little which it_belonged to/for_yourself(m) to/for_my_face/front and_it_has_increased to_increase_in_number and_ YHWH _he/it_blessed you to_foot_of_my and_now when also I will_I_work for_my_own_of_household. (GEN 30:30)

OET-RV: 30 Before I came, you didn’t have much, but now you have plenty because Yahweh has blessed you wherever I was involved. But now, when will I also do something for my own household?” (GEN 30:30)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.

The word form ‘לְפָנַי’ (Morphology=R PoS=preposition
