Open English Translation (OET)

Hebrew wordlink #375389

← הַהוּא ⌂ → Zep 3 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 11 In_the_day (the)_that not you_will_be_ashamed from_all practices_of_your which you_have_transgressed against_me if/because then I_will_remove from_midst_of_your the_exultant_ones_of your_pride_of_your and_not you_will_repeat to_be_haughty again on_the_mountain_of my_holiness_of_my. (ZEP 3:11)

OET-RV: 11 On that day you won’t feel ashamed about all the times you disobeyed me,
⇔ because at that time, I’ll remove those proud people from among you,
⇔ and you won’t continue to be arrogant on my sacred mountain. (ZEP 3:11)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
