The defeat of enemies nations

Isa 17:12–14

12The confusion of many peoples won’t end well.

they roar like the roaring oceans

and the nations rumble like the rumble of a large waterfall.

13Yes, the nations rumble like many rivers,

but he’ll scold them and they’ll flee away.

and be chased like how the wind chases chaff over the hills

and like whirling dust blown ahead of a storm.

14Then in the evening, oh my, terror!

by it’s gone by morning.

That’s what happens to those who plunder us,

and the outcome for those who rob us.
