Notes: As in the case of πράσσω[d] (90.76: πράσσω and footnote), ἐμπλέκομαι in OET TI2 2:4 involves both action and experiencing. One may say, therefore, that ἐμπλέκομαι in such a context is semantically complex in that it really belongs to two different semantic domains. Here, however, the condition of the soldier seems to be more in focus than his activity, and for that reason ἐμπλέκομαι is classified in this subdomain.
