2 But false _ prophets also became among the people , as also among you _ all will _ be false _ teachers , who will _ be_ sneaking_ in sects of _ destruction , even disowning the master having _ bought them , bringing _ upon upon _ themselves quick destruction .
2 And many will _ be_ following_ after of _ them in _ the wantonnesses , because _ of whom the way of _ the truth will _ be_ being_ slandered .
3 And in greediness they _ will_ be_ merchandising you _ all with _ fabricated messages , for _ whom the judgment anciently is _ not _ idling , and the destruction of _ them is _ not _ nodding_ off .
4 For/Because if the god not spared of _ the _ messengers having _ sinned , but having _ committed_ to_ the _ underworld them to _ pits of _ darkness , gave _ over them for judgment being _ kept , 5 and he _ not _ spared from _ the _ ancient world , but preserved the _ eighth , Nōe/(Noaḩ) , a _ proclaimer of _ righteousness , having _ brought_ the _ flood _ upon upon _ the _ world of _ the _ ungodly , 6 and having _ reduced_ to_ ashes the _ cities of _ Sodoma/(Şə dom) and Gomorra/(ˊAmorāh) condemned them , having _ presented an _ example of _ going to _ be_ acting_ ungodly 7 and rescued righteous Lōt/(Lōţ) , being _ distressed by the of _ conduct of _ the lawless in wantonness 8 (for the righteous man dwelling among them in _ seeing and in _ hearing , day by day , was _ tormenting in _ ^his _ righteous _ soul with _ ^their _ lawless works ), 9 the _ master has _ known to _ be_ rescuing the _ devout out _ of temptation , but to _ be_ keeping the _ unrighteous to being _ punished the _ day of _ judgment , 10 and most _ of_ all the pursuing after the _ flesh in the _ lusts of _ defilement , and despising of _ mastership .
Darers self-willed , they _ are_ not _ trembling slandering at _ glories , 11 where messengers being greater in _ strength and power , are _ not _ bringing a _ slanderous judgment against them before the _ master .
12 But these like illogical animals , having _ been_ born natural for capture and corruption , slandering in what they _ are_ not_ knowing , in the corruption of _ them and they _ will_ be_ being_ corrupted , 13 being _ done_ wrong as _ the _ wage of _ unrighteousness , as _ gratification considering the luxury in the _ day , stains and blemishes reveling in the seductions of _ them , feasting _ with with _ you_ all , 14 having eyes full of _ adulteress , and unceasing from _ sin , enticing unstable souls , having a _ heart having _ been_ trained in _ greediness , children of _ a _ curse , 15 having _ left the _ straight way , they _ were_ strayed having _ followed_ after in _ the way of _ the _ Balaʼam/(Bilˊām) of _ the _ Bosor/(Bə ˊōr) , who loved the _ wage of _ unrighteousness , 16 but he _ had a _ rebuke for _ ^his _ own lawlessness , a _ silent _ donkey having _ spoken in of _ a _ human a _ voice , because/forbade the insanity of _ the prophet .
17 These are waterless springs , and mists being _ driven by storm , for _ whom the darkness of _ the _ darkness has _ been_ kept .
18 For/Because speaking arrogant messages of _ uselessness , they _ are_ enticing with the _ lusts of _ the _ flesh to _ wantonness , the barely escaping _ from the being _ conducted in deception , 19 promising freedom to _ them , they being to _ slaves of _ the _ corruption , because/for by _ what anyone has _ been_ overcome , by _ this he _ has_ been_ enslaved .
20 For/Because if having _ escaped_ from the defilements of _ the world , in the _ knowledge of _ the master and saviour Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) chosen _ one/messiah , and having _ again _ been_ entangled in _ these they _ have_ been_ overcome , the last has _ become to _ them worse than the first .
21 For/Because it _ was better , for _ them , not to _ have_ known the way of _ the _ righteousness , than having _ known it , to _ turn_ away from the holy command having _ been_ given_ over to _ them .
22 the message of _ the true proverb has _ happened to _ them :
A _ dog having _ returned to its own vomit , and :
A _ sow having _ washed , to wallowing in _ the _ mud .
