7 And_broke_faith the_people of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) unfaithfulness in/on/at/with_devoted_things and_he/it_took Achan the_son of_Carmi the_son of_Zabdi the_son of_Zeraḩ of_tribe of_Yəhūdāh some_of the_devoted_things and_it_glowed/burned the_anger of_Yahweh in/on/at/with_sons of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
2 And_sent Yəhōshūˊa men from_Yərīḩō the_Ai which [is]_beside house_of wwww from_east of wwww and_he/it_said to_them to_say go_up and_spy_out DOM the_earth/land and_went_up the_men and_spied_out DOM the_Ai.
3 And_returned to Yəhōshūˊa and_they_said to_him/it not let_it_go_up all the_people about_two_thousand man or as/like_three thousand(s) man let_them_go_up and_attack DOM the_Ai do_not make_go_wearily there_at DOM all the_people DOM [are]_few they.
4 And_went_up of the_people there_to about_three thousand(s) man and_fled to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_men the_Ai.
5 And_killed from_them the_men the_Ai about_thirty and_six man and_chased_them to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_gate to the_Shebarim and_struck_down_them in/on/at/with_descent and_melted the_heart the_people and_he/it_was as_water.
6 And_tore Yəhōshūˊa clothes_his and_fell on his/its_faces/face towards_land to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_ark of_Yahweh until the_evening he and_elders of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_put dust on heads_their.
7 And_he/it_said Yəhōshūˊa alas my_master/master Yahweh to/for_why have_you_brought_over at_all_(brought_over) DOM the_people the_this DOM the_Yarəddēn to_deliver DOM_us in/on/at/with_hand the_Emori to_destroy_us and_if_only we_had_been_willing and_dwell in/on/at/with_other_side the_Yarəddēn.
8 Pardon_me my_master/master what will_I_say after that it_has_turned Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) a_neck to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before enemies_its.
9 And_hear the_Canaanites and_all/each/any/every the_inhabitants the_earth/land and_surround around_us and_cut_off DOM name_our from the_earth/land and_what will_you_do for_name_your the_great.
10 and_he/it_said Yahweh to Yəhōshūˊa stand_up to/for_you(fs) to/for_what this [are]_you falling on face_your.
11 It_has_sinned Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_also they_have_transgressed DOM covenant_my which I_commanded DOM_them and_also they_have_taken some_of the_devoted_things and_also they_have_stolen and_also they_have_deceived and_also they_have_put_[them] in/on/at/with_belongings_their_own.
12 And_not they_are_able the_people of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_stand to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before enemies_their a_neck they_turn to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before enemies_their DOM they_have_become for_devoted_for_destruction not I_will_repeat to_be with_you_all if not you_all_will_destroy the_devoted_things from_among_you_all.
13 Arise consecrate DOM the_people and_say consecrate_yourselves for_tomorrow DOM thus he_says Yahweh the_god of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) devoted_thing[s] in/on/at/with_midst_you Oh_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) not you_will_be_able to_stand to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before enemies_your until remove_you_all the_devoted_things from_midst_your_all’s.
14 And_come_forward in/on/at/with_morning by_tribes_your_all’s and_it_was the_tribe which takes_him Yahweh it_will_draw_near by_the_clans and_the_clan which takes_her Yahweh it_will_draw_near by_the_households and_the_family which takes_him Yahweh it_will_draw_near by_the_men.
15 And_it_was the_caught in/on/at/with_devoted_things he_will_be_burned in/on/at/with_fire DOM_him/it and_DOM all that to_him/it DOM he_has_transgressed DOM covenant of_Yahweh and_because/when he_has_done a_disgraceful_folly in/on/at/with_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
16 And_rose_early Yəhōshūˊa in/on/at/with_morning and_brought_near DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) by_tribes_him and_taken the_tribe of_Yəhūdāh.
17 And_brought_near DOM the_family of_Yəhūdāh and_selected DOM the_family the_Zeraḩites and_come_forward DOM the_family the_Zeraḩites by_the_heads_of_families and_taken Zabdi.
18 And_come_forward DOM family_his by_the_men and_taken Achan the_son of_Carmi the_son of_Zabdi the_son of_Zeraḩ of_tribe of_Yəhūdāh.
19 And_he/it_said Yəhōshūˊa to Achan son_my put please glory to/for_YHWH the_god of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_give to_him/it confession and_tell please to_me what have_you_done do_not hide_[it] from_me.
20 And_answered Achan DOM Yəhōshūˊa and_said truly I I_have_sinned to/for_YHWH the_god of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_as_this and_as_this I_have_done.
21 And_saw[fn] in/on/at/with_spoil (the)_cloak of_Shinar one good and_two_hundreds shekels silver and_(the)_tongue of_gold one [was]_fifty shekels weighing_him and_coveted_them and_took_them and_see_they [are]_hidden on_the_earth in_the_middle the_tent_my and_the_silver underneath_it.
22 And_sent Yəhōshūˊa messengers and_ran the_tent_to and_see/lo/see [it_was]_hidden in/on/at/with_tent_his and_the_silver underneath_it.
23 And_took_them from_inside the_tent and_brought_them to Yəhōshūˊa and_near/to all the_people of_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_spread_out_them to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yahweh.
24 And_he/it_took Yəhōshūˊa DOM Achan the_son of_Zeraḩ and_DOM the_silver and_DOM the_robe and_DOM the_tongue the_gold and_DOM sons_his and_DOM daughters_his and_DOM oxen_his and_DOM donkeys_his and_DOM his/its_flock_of_sheep/goats and tent_his and_DOM all that to_him/it and_all Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it and_brought_up DOM_them the_valley of_Achor.
25 And_he/it_said Yəhōshūˊa why bring_trouble_on_us bring_trouble_you Yahweh in_the_day the_this and_stoned DOM_him/it all Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) stone[s] and_burned DOM_them in/on/at/with_fire and_stoned DOM_them in/on/at/with_stones.
26 And_raised on/upon/above_him/it a_heap of_stones great until the_day the_this and_turned Yahweh from_fierceness anger_his on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so someone_called the_name the_place (the)_that the_valley of_Achor until the_day the_this.
