25:31 Separating sheep and goats

31[ref]But when humanity’s child comes in his glory and all the messengers with him, then he’ll sit down on his splendid throne 32and all the nations will be gathered together in front of him. He’ll separate them all from each other, just like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33Then the sheep will be standing on his right, and the goats on his left 34and the king will say to the sheep on his right, ‘Come all of you who’ve been blessed by my father. Now you’ll inherit the kingdom that has been prepared for you since the creation of the world 35because I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you accommodated me, 36I was naked and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to see me.’ 37Then those godly people will ask, ‘Master, when did we ever see you hungry and we fed you, or thirsty and we gave you a drink? 38And when did we see you as a stranger and accommodate you, or naked and we clothed you? 39And when did we see you in prison, and we came to see you?’ 40Then the king will answer them, ‘I can assure you that whenever you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, then you did it to me.’

41Then the king will also speak to the ones on his left, ‘Get away from me you who are cursed. You’ll go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his messengers. 42Because I was hungry and you didn’t give me anything to drink, I was thirsty and you didn’t give me anything to drink, 43I was a stranger and you didn’t offer me shelter, I was naked and you didn’t give me any clothes, and I was sick and in prison and you never visited me.’ 44Then they’ll also respond, ‘Master, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty, or a stranger or naked, or sick or in prison and we didn’t help you?’ 45‘I can assure you,’ the king answered, ‘that whenever you failed to help even one of the least of these others, you failed to serve me.’ 46[ref]Then this group will be sent off to eternal punishment, but the guiltless ones will receive eternal life.

31But whenever the son of_ the _man may_come in the glory of_him, and all the messengers with him, then he_will_be_sitting_down on throne of_glory of_him.
32And all the nations will_be_being_gathered_together before him, and will_be_setting_apart them from one_another, as the shepherd is_setting_apart the sheep from the goats.
33And the sheep will_be_standing on_one_hand on the_right of_him, on_the_other_hand the goats on the_left.
34Then the king will_be_saying to_the ones on the_right of_him:
Come you_all having_been_blessed of_the father of_me, inherit the kingdom having_been_prepared for_you_all from the_foundation of_the_world.
35For/Because I_hungered and you_all_gave to_me to_eat, I_thirsted and you_all_gave_ me _to_drink, I_was a_stranger and you_all_brought_ me _in, 36naked and you_all_clothed me, I_ailed and you_all_visited me, I_was in prison and you_came to me.
37Then the righteous will_be_answering to_him saying:
master, when we_saw you hungering and we_fed, or thirsting and we_gave_to_drink?
38And when we_saw you a_stranger and we_brought_in, or naked and we_clothed?
39And when we_saw you sick or in prison, and we_came to you?
40And the king answering, will_be_saying to_them:
Truly, I_am_saying to_you_all, because/for as_much_as you_all_did it to_ the least _one of_these the brothers of_me, you_all_did it to_me.
41Then he will_ also _be_saying to_the ones on the_left:
Be_going from me having_been_cursed ones into the the eternal fire, which having_been_prepared for_the devil and the messengers of_him.
42For/Because I_hungered and you_all_ not _gave to_me to_eat, and I_thirsted and not you_all_gave_ me _to_drink, 43I_was a_stranger and you_all_ not _brought_in me, naked and you_all_ not _clothed me, sick and in prison and you_all_ not _visited me.
44Then they will_ also _be_answering saying:
master, when we_saw you hungering, or thirsting, or a_stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and we_ not _served unto_you?
45Then he_will_be_answering to_them saying:
Truly, I_am_saying to_you_all, because/for as_much_as you_all_ not _did it to_ of_these the _one least, neither you_all_did it to_me.
46And these will_be_going_away into eternal punishment, but the the_righteous into eternal life.
