3 and_he/it _said Shəmū^ʼēl to all the _house of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_say if in_all heart_your _all’s you _all [are]_turning _back to Yahweh remove DOM the _gods the_foreign from_among_you _all and_the_Ashtoreths and_direct hearts_your _all’s to Yahweh and_serve_him for_him/it_being _alone and_deliver DOM_you _all from_hand of _[the]_Philistines.
4 And_removed the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM the_Baˊals and_DOM the_Ashtoreths and_served DOM Yahweh for_him/it_being _alone.
5 and_he/it _said Shəmū^ʼēl gather DOM all Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) the_Mizpah_at and_pray for_you _all to Yahweh.
6 And_gathered the_Mizpah_at and_drew water and_poured _out to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before Yahweh and_fasted in _the_day (the)_that and_they _said there we _have _sinned to/for_YHWH and_judged Shəmū^ʼēl DOM the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_Mizpah.
7 And_heard [the]_Philistines DOM_that they _had _gathered _together the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) the_Mizpah_at and_went _up the _rulers of _[the]_Philistines against Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_they _heard the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_they _saw from_face/in _front _of [the]_Philistines.
8 And_they _said the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to Shəmū^ʼēl do _not keep _silent from_him/it to_crying _out to Yahweh god_our and_save_us from_hand of _[the]_Philistines.
9 And_he/it _took Shəmū^ʼēl a _lamb of _milk one and_offered[fn] a _burnt _offering a _whole _offering to/for_YHWH and_cried _out Shəmū^ʼēl to Yahweh for Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_answered_him Yahweh.
10 And_he/it _was Shəmū^ʼēl offering _up the_burnt _offering and_Philistines they _drew _near to _the_battle in/on/at/with_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_thundered Yahweh in/on/at/with_thunder great in _the_day (the)_that on [the]_Philistines and_threw _intoconfusion_them and_routed to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
11 And_they _went _out the _men of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) from the_Mizpah and_pursued DOM [the]_Philistines and_struck _down_them to from_under to wwww.
12 And_he/it _took Shəmū^ʼēl a _stone one and_he/it _assigned between the_Mizpah and_between the_Shen and_he/it _called DOM his/its_name wwww wwww and_said until now helped_us Yahweh.
13 And_subdued the_Philistines and_not they _repeated again to_invade in/on/at/with_territory of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_it _became the _hand of _Yahweh in/on/at/with_Philistines all the _days of _Shəmū^ʼēl.
14 And_restored the_towns which they _had _taken [the]_Philistines from Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) from_Ekron and_unto Gath and_DOM territory_their it _delivered Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) from_hand of _[the]_Philistines and_he/it _was peace between Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_between the_Emori.
15 And_judged Shəmū^ʼēl DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) all the _days his/its_life.
