2 thus he_says Yahweh of_hosts I_have_paid_attention_to DOM [that]_which it_did ˊₐmālēq to_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) [that]_which it_set to_him/it in/on/at/with_way in/on/at/with_came_up_they from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
3 Now go and_attack DOM ˊₐmālēq and_utterly_destroy DOM all that to_him/it and_not you_must_have_compassion on/upon/above_him/it and_kill from_man unto a_woman from_child and_unto a_sucking_child from_ox and_unto a_sheep from_camel and_unto a_donkey.

5 And_came Shāʼūl to the_city of_ˊₐmālēq and_set_an_ambush in/on/at/with_valley.
6 And_he/it_said Shāʼūl to the_Kenites go depart go_down from_among [the]_ˊₐmālēqite[s] lest destroy_you with_him/it and_you(ms) you_did loyalty with all the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_came_up_they out_of_Miʦrayim and_withdrew [the]_Kenite[s] from_among ˊₐmālēq.
7 And_defeated Shāʼūl DOM ˊₐmālēq from_Ḩₐvīlāh goes_you Shur which [is]_on the_face of_Miʦrayim.
8 And_captured DOM Agag the_king of_ˊₐmālēq alive and_DOM all the_people he_totally_destroyed with_edge of_[the]_sword.
9 And_spared Shāʼūl and_the_people on Agag and_to the_best the_sheep and_the_cattle and_the_fatlings and_of the_lambs and_to all the_good and_not they_were_willing utterly_destroy_them and_all the_things despised and_worthless DOM_her/it they_totally_destroyed.

10 and_he/it_was the_word of_Yahweh to Shəmū^ʼēl to_say.
11 I_regret DOM_that I_have_made_king DOM Shāʼūl as_king DOM he_has_turned_back from_following_me and_DOM instructions_my not he_has_carried_out and_it_glowed/burned to_Shəmū^ʼēl and_cried_out to Yahweh all the_night.

17 and_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl am_not though [were]_small you in/on/at/with_eyes_your_own the_chief of_the_tribes of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) [are]_you and_anointed_you Yahweh as_king over Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
18 And_sent_you Yahweh in/on/at/with_mission and_he/it_said go and_utterly_destroy DOM the_sinners DOM ˊₐmālēq and_fight in_him/it until consumed_they DOM_them.

20 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to Shəmū^ʼēl (cmp) I_listened in/on/at/with_voice of_Yahweh and_went in/on/at/with_mission which sent_me Yahweh and_brought_back DOM Agag the_king of_ˊₐmālēq and_DOM ˊₐmālēq I_totally_destroyed.
21 And_he/it_took the_people from_the_plunder sheep and_cattle the_choicest the_things_devoted_to_destruction to_sacrifice to/for_YHWH god_your in/on/at/with_Gilgal.
22 And_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl the_delight to/for_YHWH in/on/at/with_burnt_offerings and_sacrifices as_obeying in/on/at/with_voice of_Yahweh here to_obey than_sacrifice [is]_good to_heed than_fat of_rams.
23 DOM [is_the]_sin of_divination rebellion and_iniquity and_idolatry presumption because you_have_rejected DOM the_word of_Yahweh and_rejected_you from_king.
24 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to Shəmū^ʼēl I_have_sinned DOM I_have_transgressed DOM the_mouth of_Yahweh and_DOM words_your DOM I_feared DOM the_people and_obeyed in/on/at/with_voice_their.
25 And_now forgive please DOM sin_my and_return with_me and_worship to/for_YHWH.
26 And_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl to Shāʼūl not I_will_return with_you DOM you_have_rejected DOM the_word of_Yahweh and_rejected_you Yahweh from_being king over Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
27 and_turned Shəmū^ʼēl to_go and_caught_hold in/on/at/with_hem robe_his and_tore.

32 and_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl bring_near to_me DOM Agag the_king of_ˊₐmālēq and_he/it_went to_him/it Agag bonds and_he/it_said Agag truly it_has_departed the_bitterness the_death.
33 and_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl just_as it_has_made_childless women sword_your so she_will_become_childless among_women mother_your and_hacked_topieces Shəmū^ʼēl DOM Agag to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yahweh in/on/at/with_Gilgal.
34 and_he/it_went Shəmū^ʼēl the_Rāmāhh_to and_Shāʼūl he_went_up to house_his Gibeah of_Shāʼūl.
35 And_not he_repeated Shəmū^ʼēl to_see DOM Shāʼūl until the_day death_his DOM he_mourned Shəmū^ʼēl concerning Shāʼūl and_LORD he_regretted DOM_that he_had_made_king DOM Shāʼūl over Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
