23 And_told to_Dāvid to_say there [the]_Philistines [are]_fighting in/on/at/with_Keilah and_they [are]_plundering DOM the_threshing_floors.
2 And_inquired Dāvid in/on/at/with_LORD to_say go and_attack in/on/at/with_Philistines the_these and_he/it_said Yahweh to Dāvid go and_attack in/on/at/with_Philistines and_save DOM Keilah.
3 And_they_said the_men of_Dāvid to_him/it here we here in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh [are]_fearful and_how_much_more DOM we_will_go Keilah against the_battle_lines of_[the]_Philistines.
4 and_he_repeated again Dāvid to_inquired in/on/at/with_LORD and_answered_him Yahweh and_he/it_said arise go_down Keilah DOM I [am]_about_to_give DOM [the]_Philistines in/on/at/with_hand_your.
5 And_he/it_went Dāvid and_men_his[fn] Keilah and_fought in/on/at/with_Philistines and_brought_away DOM livestock_their and_struck (is)_in_them a_defeat great and_saved Dāvid DOM the_inhabitants of_Keilah.
6 and_he/it_was in/on/at/with_fled ⱱəyātār the_son of_Ahimelech to Dāvid Keilah an_ephod it_came_down in_his/its_hand.
7 And_told to_Shāʼūl DOM_that he_had_gone Dāvid Keilah and_he/it_said Shāʼūl he_has_alienated DOM_him/it god in/on/at/with_hand_my DOM he_has_shut_himself_up by_entering in/on/at/with_town of_doors and_bars.
8 And_summoned Shāʼūl DOM all the_people for_the_war to_go_down Keilah to_besiege against Dāvid and_near/to men_his.
9 And_he/it_knew Dāvid DOM_that on/upon/above_him/it Shāʼūl [was]_plotting the_evil and_he/it_said to ⱱəyātār the_priest/officer bring the_ephod.
10 and_he/it_said Dāvid Oh_Yahweh the_god of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) certainly_(hear) he_has_heard servant_your DOM_that [is]_seeking Shāʼūl to_come to Keilah to_destroy to_the_city in/on/at/with_account_me.
11 Surrender_me the_citizens of_Keilah in/on/at/with_hand_his come_down Shāʼūl just_as he_has_heard servant_your Oh_Yahweh the_god of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) tell please to_servant_your and_he/it_said Yahweh he_will_come_down.
12 And_he/it_said Dāvid surrender the_citizens of_Keilah DOM_me and_DOM men_my in/on/at/with_hand of_Shāʼūl and_he/it_said Yahweh they_will_deliver_[you_all]_up.
13 and_he/it_rose_up Dāvid and_men_his about_six hundred(s) man and_they_went_out from_Keilah and_wandered in/on/at/with_wherever they_went_about and_to_Shāʼūl it_was_told DOM_that he_had_escaped Dāvid from_Keilah and_gave_up to_expedition.

14 And_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived Dāvid in/on/at/with_wilderness in/on/at/with_strongholds and_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in/on/at/with_hill_country in/on/at/with_wilderness of_Ziph and_sought_him Shāʼūl all the_days and_not give_him god in_his/its_hand.

16 and_he/it_rose_up Yōnātān the_son of_Shāʼūl and_he/it_went to Dāvid Horesh and_encouraged DOM his/its_hand in/on/at/with_god.
17 And_he/it_said to_him/it do_not be_afraid DOM not find_you the_hand of_Shāʼūl father_my and_you(ms) you_will_reign over Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_I I_will_become to_you as_second and_also Shāʼūl father_my [is]_knowing right.
18 And_made both_of_them a_covenant to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yahweh and_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived Dāvid in/on/at/with_Horesh and_Yōnātān he_went to_home_his.
19 and_went_up Ziphites to Shāʼūl the_Gibeah_at to_say am_not [is]_Dāvid hiding_himself among_us in/on/at/with_strongholds in/on/at/with_Horesh in/on/at/with_hill the_Hachilah which on_south the_jeshimon.
20 And_now to/from_all/each/any/every the_desire soul_your the_king to_come_down come_down and_for_us surrender_him in/on/at/with_hand the_king.
21 And_he/it_said Shāʼūl [be]_blessed you_all to/for_YHWH DOM you_all_have_had_compassion for_me.

25 And_he/it_went Shāʼūl and_men_his to_seek and_told to_Dāvid and_he/it_descended the_rock and_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in/on/at/with_wilderness of_Maon and_he/it_listened Shāʼūl and_pursued after Dāvid the_wilderness of_Maon.
26 And_he/it_went Shāʼūl on_side the_mountain on_one and_Dāvid and_men_his on_side the_mountain on_the_other and_he/it_was Dāvid hurrying_away to_go from_face/in_front_of Shāʼūl and_Shāʼūl and_men_his [were]_surrounding (to) Dāvid and_near/to men_his to_capture_them.
27 And_messenger he_came to Shāʼūl to_say hurry and_come DOM they_have_made_a_raid [the]_Philistines on the_earth/land.
