5 And_he/it_said peace to_sacrifice to/for_YHWH I_have_come consecrate_yourselves and_come with_me in/on/at/with_sacrifice and_he/it_consecrated DOM Yishay and_DOM sons_his and_he/it_called to/for_them to_the_sacrifice.
6 And_he/it_was in/on/at/with_came_they and_he/it_saw DOM Eliab and_he/it_said surely [is]_before Yahweh anointed_his.
7 And_he/it_said Yahweh to Shəmū^ʼēl do_not look to appearance_his and_near/to the_height stature_his DOM rejected_him DOM not [that]_which he_sees the_humankind DOM the_humankind he_sees at_the_outward_appearance and_LORD he_sees on_the_heart.
8 And_he/it_called Yishay to Abinadab and_pass_him to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Shəmū^ʼēl and_he/it_said also in/on/at/with_this not he_has_chosen Yahweh.
9 And_pass_by Yishay Shammah and_he/it_said also in/on/at/with_this not he_has_chosen Yahweh.
10 And_pass Yishay seven sons_his to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Shəmū^ʼēl and_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl to Yishay not he_has_chosen Yahweh in/on/at/with_these.
11 And_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl to Yishay all the_sons and_he/it_said still he_remains the_youngest and_see/lo/see [he_is]_shepherding in/on/at/with_sheep and_he/it_said Shəmū^ʼēl to Yishay send and_bring_him DOM not we_will_turn_round until comes_he here.
12 And_sent and_brought_in_him and_he [was]_red with beautiful of_eyes and_good of_appearance and_he/it_said Yahweh arise anoint_him DOM this [is]_he.
13 And_he/it_took Shəmū^ʼēl DOM the_horn the_oil and_anointed DOM_him/it in/on/at/with_presence brothers_his and_came_mightily the_spirit of_Yahweh to Dāvid from_the_day (the)_that and_onward and_he/it_rose_up Shəmū^ʼēl and_he/it_went the_Rāmāhh_to.

14 and_spirit of_Yahweh it_departed from_with Shāʼūl and_tormented_him a_spirit evil from Yahweh.
15 And_they_said the_servants of_Shāʼūl to_him/it here please a_spirit of_god evil tormenting_you.
16 Let_him_say please master_our your_servants to_your_face let_them_seek a_person [who]_knows playing in/on/at/with_lyre and_it_was in/on/at/with_is upon_you a_spirit of_god evil and_play in_his/its_hand and_good to/for_you(fs).
17 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to servants_his see please to_me a_person [who]_does_well to_play and_bring to_me.
18 And_answered one of_the_young_men and_he/it_said here I_have_seen a_son of_Yishay house_of wwww [who]_knows to_play and_man of_strength and_man of_war and_prudent of_word and_man of_form and_LORD with_him/it.
19 And_sent Shāʼūl messengers to Yishay and_he/it_said send to_me DOM Dāvid son_your who in/on/at/with_sheep.
20 And_he/it_took Yishay a_donkey bread and_skin of_wine and_young_goat_of of_goats one and_sent in/on/at/with_hand of_Dāvid his/its_son to Shāʼūl.
21 And_came Dāvid to Shāʼūl and_entered_service before_face/front_his and_loved_him exceedingly and_he/it_was to_him/it a_bearer of_armor(s).
22 And_sent Shāʼūl to Yishay to_say let_him_stand please Dāvid to/for_my_face/front DOM he_has_found favour in/on/at/with_sight_my.
23 And_it_was in/on/at/with_came a_spirit of_god to Shāʼūl and_he/it_will_take Dāvid DOM the_lyre and_play in_his/its_hand and_relieved for_Shāʼūl and_good to_him/it and_depart from_upon_him the_spirit the_evil.
