Only use of identical word form καταποντίζεσθαι (V-NPP....) in the Greek originals

The word form ‘καταποντίζεσθαι’ (V-NPP....) is always and only glossed as ‘to_be_being sunk’.

The various word forms of the root word (lemma) ‘katapontizō’ have 2 different glosses: ‘may_be sunk’, ‘to_be_being sunk’.
