Hebrew wordlink #133749

← וְהֵרֵעוּ ⌂ → 1 Sam 17 ║ ═

Key: khaki:verbs.
Bold in each verse marks the word or words linked to that example’s source word, where an alignment is available.
Note: Automatic aligning of the OET-RV to the LV is done by some temporary software, hence the RV alignments are incomplete (and may occasionally be wrong). An unbolded RV line may have no alignment for this word. See the OET key for other text colours and marks.

OET-LV: 20 And_ Dāvid _he_rose_early in_morning and_he_left DOM the_flock with a_watchman and_he_lifted_up and_he/it_went just_as he_had_commanded_him Yishay/(Jesse) and_he_came to_the_camp and_the_army which_was_going_out to the_battle_line and_they_shouted_a_war_cry in_battle. (SA1 17:20)

OET-RV: 20 So David got up early in the morning and left the flock with a shepherd, and set out just like Yishay had told him to. When he got to the battleground and the camp, the warriors were just going out to the battle line and they were shouting the battle cry. (SA1 17:20)

Note: These word pages enable you to click through to the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) that the Open English Translation Old Testament is translated from. The OSHB is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC). (We are still searching for a digitized facsimile of the Leningradensis manuscript that we can easily link to. See this list and this archive for now.) This is all part of the commitment of the Open English Translation team to be transparent about all levels of the Bible translation process right back to the original manuscripts.
