צ (Tsade)

137 You always do what is right, Yahweh,

and your regulations are fair.

138 What you’ve revealed demands obedience

and much faithfulness.

139 My zeal has consumed me

because my enemies forget your messages.

140 What you said is totally pure

and your servant loves it.

141 I’m unimportant, and despised.

I don’t forget your principles.

142 You do right and it’s right forever,

and your instructions are true.

143 Distress and anguish have found me.

Your commands are my only delight.

144 What you’ve revealed is right forever.

Give me understanding that I may live.
