Calling to be rescued

Psa 119:145–152

ק (Qof)

145I cried out with my whole being, “Answer me, Yahweh,

I will keep your regulations.

146I call out to yousave me,

so that I can keep what you’ve revealed to us.

147I rise before the dawn and cry out for help.

I put my hope in your words.

148I stay awake through the night hours

in order to meditate on what you’ve said.

149Apply your loyal commitment to listening to my voice.

Yahweh, preserve my life according to your justice.

150Those pursuing wickedness are coming near.

They wander far from your instructions.

151You are near, Yahweh,

and all your commands are reliable.

152Long ago I learned from the things that you revealed

that you had established them forever.
