7 and_heard all the _commanders the_forces which in _the_field they and_men_their DOM_that he _had _appointed the _king of _Bāvelh DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam on _the_earth and_because/when he _had _appointed with_him/it men and_women and_children and_of_poorest the_earth/land of_who not they _had _been _taken _into _exile Bāvelh_to.
8 And_they _came to Gəddalə^yāh the_Mizpah_at and_Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son Nethaniah and_Johanan and_Yōnātān the _sons of _Kareah and_Seraiah the _son of _Tanhumeth and_the _sons of _Ephai[fn] the_Netophathite and_Jezaniah the _son the_Maacathite they and_men_their.
9 And_swore to/for_them Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam the _son of _Shaphan and_to_men_their to_say do _not be _afraid to_serve the_Kasdim dwell in/on _the_earth and_serve DOM the _king of _Bāvelh and_go _well with_you _all.
10 And_me look_I [will _be]_dwelling in/on/at/with_Mizpah to_represent to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_Kasdim who they _will _come to_us and_you _all gather wine and_summer _fruit and_oil and_put in/on/at/with_vessels_your _all’s and_live in/on/at/with_towns_your _all’s which you _all _have _taken _hold _of.
11 And_also all the_Judeans who in/on/at/with_Mōʼāv and_in/on/at/with_sons of _Ammon and_in/on/at/with_ʼEdōm and_which in_all the_lands they _heard DOM_that he _had _given the _king of _Bāvelh a _remnant in_Yəhūdāh and_because/when he _had _appointed over_them DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam the _son of _Shaphan.
12 And_returned all the_Judeans from_all the_places where they _had _been _driven _away there and_they _came the _land of _Yəhūdāh to Gəddalə^yāh the_Mizpah_at and_gathered wine and_summer _fruit much exceedingly.
