13 and_Johanan the _son of _Kareah and_all the _commanders the_forces which in _the_field they _came to Gəddalə^yāh the_Mizpah_at.
14 And_they _said to_him/it to _know[fn] do _you _know DOM_that Baˊalis the _king of _the _people of _Ammon he _has _sent DOM Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah to_kill_your life and_not he _believed to/for_them Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam.
15 And_Johanan the _son of _Kareah he _said to Gəddalə^yāh in/on/at/with_private in/on/at/with_Mizpah to_say let _me _go please and_kill DOM Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah and_one not he _will _know to/for_what kill_your life and_scattered all Yəhūdāh the_gathered around_you and_perish the _remnant of _Yəhūdāh.
16 And_he/it _said Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam to Johanan the _son of _Kareah do _not do[fn] DOM the_thing the_this DOM falsehood you [are]_speaking concerning Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael).
41 and_he/it _was in/on/at/with_month the_seventh he _came Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah the _son of _ʼElīshāˊma of_family the_royalty and_chief _officers the_king and_ten men with_him/it to Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam the_Mizpah_at and_ate there food together in/on/at/with_Mizpah.
2 And_he/it _rose _up Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah and_ten the_men who they _were with_him/it and_struck _down DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam the _son of _Shaphan in/on/at/with_sword and_killed DOM_him/it whom he _had _appointed the _king of _Bāvelh on _the_earth.
3 And_DOM all the_Judeans who they _were with_him/it with Gəddalə^yāh in/on/at/with_Mizpah and_DOM the_Kasdim who they _were _found there DOM the _men the_war he _struck _down Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael).
4 And_he/it _was in _the_day the_second after_killing DOM Gəddalə^yāh and_anyone not he _knew.
5 And_they _came men from_Shəkem from_Shiloh and_from_Shomərōn eighty man shaven of _beard and_torn of _clothes and_gashed and_grain _offerings and_incense in/on/at/with_hands_their to_bring the _house of _Yahweh.
6 And_he/it _went _out Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah to_meet_them from the_Mizpah going going and_weeping and_he/it _was as_met DOM_them and_he/it _said to_them come to Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam.
7 and_he/it _was when_came_they into the _middle the_city and_slaughtered_them Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah into the _middle the_cistern he and_the_men who with_him/it.
8 And_ten men they _were _found in/on/at/with_them and_they _said to Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) do _not kill_us DOM there _[belongs] to/for_us hidden _treasures in _the_field wheat(s) and_barley and_oil and_honey and_refrained and_not kill_them in _the_middle companions_their.
9 And_the_cistern where he _threw there Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) DOM all the _corpses the_men whom he _had _struck _down in/on/at/with_side _of of _Gəddalə^yāh it [was _the _one]_which he _had _made the_king Asa from_face/in _front _of Baasha the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM_him/it he _filled Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah [those]_slain.
10 And_took _captive Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) DOM all the _rest the_people which in/on/at/with_Mizpah DOM the _daughters the_king and_DOM all the_people the_left in/on/at/with_Mizpah whom he _had _appointed Nebuzaradan [the]_chief of _[the]_bodyguards DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam and_took _captive_them Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah and_he/it _went to_cross _over to the _people of _Ammon.
11 and_he/it _listened Johanan the _son of _Kareah and_all the _commanders the_forces who with_him/it DOM all the_evil which he _had _done Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah.
12 And_they _took DOM all the_men and_went to_fight with Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah and_they _found DOM_him/it to water great which in/on/at/with_Gibeon.
13 And_he/it _was when_saw all the_people which [was]_with Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) DOM Johanan the _son of _Kareah and_DOM all the _commanders the_forces who with_him/it and_glad.
14 And_turned _around all the_people which he _had _taken _captive Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) from the_Mizpah and_came _back and_went to Johanan the _son of _Kareah.
15 And_Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah he _escaped in/on/at/with_eight men from_face/in _front _of Johanan and_he/it _went to the _people of _Ammon.
16 and_he/it _took Johanan the _son of _Kareah and_all the _commanders the_forces who with_him/it DOM all the _rest the_people which he _had _brought _back from_with Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah from the_Mizpah after he _had _struck _down DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam men the _men the_army and_women and_children and_eunuchs whom he _had _brought _back from_Gibeon.
17 And_set _out and_they _lived in/on/at/with_geruth mmm[fn] which [is]_beside house _of wwww to_go to_go Miʦərayim/(Egypt).
18 From_face/in _front _of the_Kasdim DOM they _were _afraid from_their_face/front DOM he _had _struck _down Yishəmāˊēʼl/(Ishmael) the _son of _Nethaniah DOM Gəddalə^yāh the _son of _Ahikam whom he _had _appointed the _king of _Bāvelh on _the_earth.
