Open English Translation JER Chapter 28

28 and_he/it_was in/on/at/with_year the_that_same in_beginning of_the_reign of_Zedekiah the_king of_Yəhūdāh in/on/at/with_year[fn] the_fourth in/on/at/with_month the_fifth he_said to_me Hananiah the_son of_Azzur the_prophet who from_Gibeon in_house_of of_Yahweh in_presence the_priests and_all the_people to_say.
2 Thus he_says Yahweh of_hosts the_god of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_say I_will_break DOM the_yoke of_the_king of_Bāⱱelh.
3 In/on/at/with_yet two_years days I [will]_bring_back to the_place the_this DOM all the_articles of_the_house of_Yahweh which he_took Nebuchadnezzar[fn] the_king of_Bāⱱelh from the_place the_this and_he/it_brought_them Bāⱱelh.
4 And_DOM Jeconiah the_son of_Jehoiakim the_king of_Yəhūdāh and_DOM all the_exile[s] of_Yəhūdāh the_(ones_who)_went Bāⱱelh_to I [will]_bring_back to the_place the_this the_utterance of_Yahweh DOM I_will_break DOM the_yoke of_the_king of_Bāⱱelh.
5 And_he/it_said Yirmə^yāh the_prophet to Hananiah the_prophet in_presence the_priests and_before_eyes of_all the_people the_standing in_house_of of_Yahweh.
6 And_he/it_said Yirmə^yāh the_prophet amen thus may_he_do Yahweh may_he_carry_out Yahweh DOM words_your which you_have_prophesied to_bring_back the_articles of_the_house of_Yahweh and_all the_exiles from_Bāⱱelh to the_place the_this.
7 Nevertheless listen_to please the_word the_this which I [am]_about_to_speak in/on/at/with_hearing_your and_in/on/at/with_hearing of_all the_people.
8 The_prophets who they_were to/for_my_face/front and_to/for_preceding_you from the_ancient_times and_prophesied against lands many and_against kingdoms great of_war and_of_disaster and_of_plague.
9 The_prophet who he_prophesies of_peace in/on/at/with_comes_true the_word the_prophet he_will_be_recognized the_prophet whom sent_him Yahweh in/on/at/with_truth.
10 And_he/it_took Hananiah the_prophet DOM the_yoke from_under the_neck of_Yirmə^yāh the_prophet and_broke_it.
11 And_he/it_said Hananiah in_presence of_all the_people to_say thus he_says Yahweh thus I_will_break DOM the_yoke of_Nebuchadnezzar the_king of_Bāⱱelh in/on/at/with_yet two_years days from_under[fn] the_neck of_all the_nations and_he/it_went Yirmə^yāh the_prophet on_way_his.
12 and_he/it_was the_word of_Yahweh to Yirmə^yāh after broke Hananiah the_prophet DOM the_yoke from_under the_neck of_Yirmə^yāh the_prophet to_say.
13 Go and_tell to Hananiah to_say thus he_says Yahweh yoke-bars of_wood you_have_broken and_made in_place_them yoke-bars of_iron.
14 DOM thus he_says Yahweh of_hosts the_god of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) a_yoke of_iron I_have_put on the_neck of_all the_nations the_these to_serve DOM Nebuchadnezzar the_king of_Bāⱱelh and_serve_him and_also DOM the_animal[s] the_field I_have_given to_him/it.
15 And_he/it_said Yirmə^yāh the_prophet to Hananiah the_prophet listen please Oh_Hananiah not sent_you Yahweh and_you(ms) you_have_made_rely DOM the_people the_this on falsehood.
16 For_so/thus/hence thus he_says Yahweh see_I send_you from_under the_surface the_soil the_year you [will]_die DOM rebellion you_have_spoken against Yahweh.
17 And_he/it_died Hananiah the_prophet in/on/at/with_year the_that in/on/at/with_month the_seventh.
