29 And_he/it _ascended the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_Jehoshaphat[fn] the _king of _Yəhūdāh wwww wwww.
30 And_he/it _said the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to Jehoshaphat I _will _disguise _myself and_go in/on/at/with_battle and_you(ms) wear robes_your and_disguised the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_went in/on/at/with_battle.
31 And_king of _Rām he _had _commanded DOM the _commanders the_chariot which to_him/it thirty and_two to_say not you _all _must _do _battle with [the]_small and_DOM [the]_great DOM (if) with the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) for_him/it_being _alone.
32 And_he/it _was when_saw the _commanders the_chariot DOM Jehoshaphat and_they they _said surely [is]_the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) it and_turned on/upon/above_him/it to_fight and_cried _out Jehoshaphat.
33 And_he/it _was when_saw the _commanders the_chariot DOM_that not [was]_the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) it and_turned _back from_pursuing_him.
34 And_man he _drew in/on/at/with_bow at_random_his and_struck DOM the _king of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) between the_scale _armor and_between the_breastplate and_he/it _said to_driver _of _chariot_his turn _around hand _of_you and_take _out_me from the_battle DOM I _have _been _wounded.
35 And_raged the_battle in _the_day (the)_that and_the_king he _was placed in/on/at/with_chariot opposite _to Rām and_he/it _died in/on/at/with_evening and_flowed the _blood the_wound into the _bottom the_chariot.
36 And_he/it _passed _through the_cry in/on/at/with_army about_set the_sun to_say everyone to city_his and_every _man to land_his.
37 And_he/it _died the_king and_brought Shomərōn and_buried DOM the_king in/on/at/with_Shomərōn.
38 And_washed DOM the_chariot at the _pool of _Shomərōn and_licked _up the_dogs DOM blood_his and_the_prostitutes they _bathed according _to_word of _Yahweh which he _had _spoken.
39 And_rest of _the _matters of _Ahab and_all that he _did and_palace the_ivory which he _built and_all the_cities which he _built am_not [are]_they written on the _scroll of _the _matters the_days of_kings of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
40 And_slept Ahab with fathers_his and_became _king ʼĀḩāzziah son_his in _place_his.
